Street Vendor Along Jalan Krendang Complained by Locals

Citizens living in Krendang Urban Village are complaining the existence of street vendors along Jalan Krendang Barat, Tambora, West Jakarta. They operate since afternoon until night often cause traffic congestion.

Street vendor is rampant in afternoon until night, thus it causes traffic congestion

RW 04 Chairman, Sadipin AB disclosed, all this time, the street vendor set up stall on the sidewalk in afternoon and night. Regarding this matter, his side has made a report to Krendang Urban Village Head in order to follow up citizen aspiration.

"Street vendor is rampant in afternoon until night, thus it causes traffic congestion," he expressed, Wednesday (4/27).

Krendang Urban Village Head, Andre Ravnic justified his side has received a letter from RW 04. In the letter, the chairman asked for vendor data in such road. He also revealed will follow up public aspiration.

"We're coordinating with sub-district and related unit to control them," he expressed.

His side also asked West Jakarta Bina Marga as well as Park and Cemetery Sub-dept to help arrange the vendor. Afterwards, they are asked to arrange the sidewalk.
